Hello and thank you for stopping by my corner of the web. My name is Shannon and being a massage therapist has been a lifelong dream of mine. From an early age, I perceived touch as a healing art, and my fascination with its ability to enhance quality of life ignited a passion that eventually led me to pursue this rewarding career. Originally hailing from the DC area, my journey took me to the picturesque landscapes of Colorado, where I studied at the renowned Boulder College of Massage Therapy. The comprehensive 1,000-hour program equipped me with a well-rounded skill set.

After graduating in 2009, I set out to expand my horizons in Richmond, VA, gaining valuable experience in various settings such as spas, chiropractor's offices, and wellness centers. Each unique environment deepened my understanding and proficiency. Now, here in North Carolina, I'm excited to embark on my own venture -  Better Now Bodywork.
